Our Vessel & Captain

 

Born & raised in Sheesphead Bay, Brooklyn, Captain Joe has been on the water for over 40 years. Working on both party fishing boats, commercial tug-boats, and 2 of his own privately owned vessels Captain Joe has gained a vast knowledge of any and all things nautical. He holds a United States Coast Guard 6-man Charter License - and is fully trained in all safety and emergency preparedness procedures.

An avid off-shore fisherman, Captain Joe has fished the waters of Alaska, Mexico, Costa Rica, and various points in-between.

He placed 1st in the 2004 Staten Island Tuna Club's Shark Tournament and is known to hit the off-shore waters and hang in there until they bite!

Our 290 Pilot Everglades with twin 4 stroke 250 horse-power Suzuki outboards won top honors at the NMMA innovation award ceremony.
She features a 55 gallon live-well, stand-up head, a full rigging & bait station, flowing salt & fresh water, and an abundance of storage space.
We have a 120 gallon fish box, heated pilot house, and a 70 gallon reserve gas tank.

We are full equipped with all USCG mandated safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, flares, etc., a 6-man life raft, Type 1-Life Preservers, and Cold Water Immersion "Survival Suits".
